Meet Anushua

Anushua's path to becoming a therapist was shaped by her own experiences of change, uncertainty, and starting over. After being raised in Bangladesh, she returned to the United States on her own as a young adult and built her life in New York City. Navigating different cultures and ways of life taught her the importance of self-trust, resilience, and creating a life that feels true to oneself.

Coming to the field of psychotherapy later in life reinforced her belief that meaningful change is possible at any stage. She believes that growth often begins when we allow ourselves to question old assumptions, explore new possibilities, and trust ourselves in the process.

Meet Anushua

Anushua believes that therapy is a space to explore the thoughts, beliefs, and stories that shape our lives. Many of these narratives are inherited from our families, cultures, relationships, and experiences, often without our awareness.

Through greater self-understanding, we gain the ability to make more intentional choices and develop trust in ourselves. Her approach is grounded in the belief that therapy is not about becoming someone different, but about living with greater authenticity, self-compassion, and alignment with one's values.
